Lilith

So today I choose a topic or rather a character who fascinates me a lot.  She is not a superhero or nothing neither has any superpower she was just a human or the first human. I am taking about Lilith (yap from the bible). So today I am gonna share my views about how Lilith fascinates me. But before that, I am going to give a brief introduction of hers if you don’t know her (which most of you don’t) and those who knew her and think she is a demon we will talk and that too. So stay tuned.

So a long long long really long time ago God created humanity and humans. But most of us know that Adam and Eve were the first humans. But a little correction is needed here Adam and Lilith were the first humans. From 7000-1000 AD onwards Lilith appears as Adam’s first wife, created by gods at the same time from the same clay as Adam. Adam and Lilith were placed to live in the “garden of Eden”. They lived in the garden together until Adam starts dominating himself on her. Lilith believed that they were created from the same material which means they are equal and she should have equal rights as Adam.

But Adam disagreed with Lilith’s demands of equality so Lilith left the garden of Eden to gain her independence, to live on her own, and prove that she is as capable as Adam and she does deserve to be treated equally. But as always Adam did not like this and told gods that Lilith left the garden so to do justice and bring Lilith back godsend three angels to find her. When those angels reached her she is with one of the other rebellion of gods Samael or most popularly known as Lucifer. When angels found Lilith with Lucifer they told her to return to the garden right now or she will be punished. But Lilith refused to go back to the garden. So Angels told her that if she didn’t go back to the garden, she will turn into a demon and they will kill 100 her babies every day in return for her rebels. But she didn’t return. So as compensation, God made Eve. Now people always said why eve always took the order from adam and do whatever he said. So that’s because due to Lilith's rebellion God created Eve from Adam’s rib which means she is not his equal.

So once after her encounter with angels Lilith decide to return to the garden but when she reached there she found eve. Some say Lilith encouraged eve to eat the apple from the forbidden tree some say Lucifer did. I don’t know.

So after seeing eve with Adam Lilith return to Lucifer where he told her he loves her and wants to make her his wife. So Lilith was not only the first human she was Satan’s first love too.

But as angels told her she turned into a demon or you can say the mother of demons. She created Lilium in hell where the most dangerous demons live. And she was known to kill newborn babies and death of still-born babies.

So this a brief introduction of Lilith. But her story is not as simple as it seems, every civilization or every Bible(there are more than 200 versions.)  have its own story in some Lilith exists in some she doesn’t in some she is a goddess and in some, she is a demon.

Lilith is a popular part of Jewish folklore and Hebrew bible.

I don’t know why people think Lilith was a demon I mean think for once that you are told you will turn into a demon and 100 of your babies will die daily just because to demand equal rights. I mean just think. So what if she took her revenge.

I personally a big fan of Lilith. I mean she fought for her rights of equality when they don’t even have proper knowledge they don’t know any shame or sanitation. She placed her rights above her comfort she was the first woman to fight for women's rights. And the thing that impresses me most is she was turned into a demon into a soulless, violent and most dangerous creature according to mythologies. A creature who doesn’t even know what love is. And still, she is known as the first love of Lucifer, an angel who is a rebellion, who is cast out of heaven (for the same reasons because he wants his rights). Who becomes devil, who is known to be the king of misery, pain, hatred, who punishes people, who don’t care about anyone fell for a human. There is something special about her. Don’t you think?

So I want to end with a little creation of mine

“she is known as a demon, She taught  love to the Satan, She fought for the even, No one knows her still then.”
